Nano Tech initiative
The ability to see nano-sized materials has opened up a world of possibilities in a variety of industries and scientific endeavors. Because nanotechnology is essentially a set of techniques that allow manipulation of properties at a very small scale, it can have many applications..
According to Sri Lankan government officials, via the Gama Neguma Programme, there has been a lot of improvements in rural regions, but that in order to remedy poverty, Sri Lanka requires enterprises involving nanotechnologies and other novel technologies so that high quality goods can be created in order for the country to prove competitive on a national and international level.
Ascent- X signed up a MOU with LSF (Lanka Software Foundation) to initiate software solution for the Nanotech domain.
